7 Reasons Why It is Awesome to be a Forex Trader

In this article, I will give you my insights and personal reasons why I have chosen to become a Forex Trader. All of us have desires in life and among of them are financial and time

freedom. If we would ask 10 people randomly if they want to be financially free, I bet 90% if not all of them will say "yes". However, in reality only 10% of the people achieve it. The main reason is that not because they do not have the desire but they do not follow a right formula to do it, or the right vehicle to achieve it. People jump from one job to another looking for a high salary or good offers, but then again, as they climbed up the corporate ladder, they are more tied up to the job that sometimes they bring their job at home. There is nothing wrong with a job if one just wants to survive, but if a person has a desire to be free, free from 8-5 job or free from having a boss, and financially free, employment is never a wise option.

Business is a very good vehicle to be financially free because of the world ‘leverage’. Leverage means increasing results with less personal effort. Employees have no leverage, the boss has. That is why boss is always richer that employees. In business, you can hire people to work for you and they become your leverage. However, to be engaged with business today is far too risky and it takes more money to start-up to survive in the markets. Big businesses swallow small ones. Competition is very tough. I personally experienced bankruptcy in business and it doesn’t feel good, it’s devastating having your hard-earned savings gone.

Why I choose Forex Trading? Here are some of the ‘lights’, just like a flushing bulb that I saw when I discovered forex:

1. Less required capital yet offers Financial Freedom. Unlike businesses, you will have to spend a huge capital to start up. Sometimes you have to rent a space for a good location and good locations are very expensive. You have to hire an assistant

depending on what business you put up. And in business, you must have a huge capital for 1-2 years. Normally it takes a year or two to make a business profitable. There are so many factors to consider and if you only have just enough capital, it is far too risky. In Forex, you do not need a big amount to start. Some brokers will allow you to start with just some few hundred dollars. Small accounts can grow into big and the sky is the limit. Your expenses are just minimal like acquiring a laptop to use (you can buy low price but high specs laptops today), a good internet connection plan, and that’s it! You can spend money on trainings but it is optional. There are lots of free training courses in the internet where you can study by yourself.

2. Flexibility - Full time Forex traders do not work on fix hours or schedules. You can basically trade whenever you want. The markets is open 24 hours from Monday to Sunday. In my strategy, one or two trades per week will suffice. You can even earn hundreds of thousands in a month with just few trades. Consistently growing your account would give you an opportunity to earn 6-figures in a month. Full time employees almost do not have time for themselves and their family, but full time forex traders always have a time for everything. That makes forex very awesome!

3. You can trade everywhere. Forex trading is an online transaction, so it means you can do it everywhere as long as you are connected to the internet. My desire as a forex trader is to trade on top of the highest skyscraper in the world! You can trade in the beach or in your hotel room, you can travel around the world and bring with you your forex trades.

4. You earn US dollars. This is a big advantage for traders in the Philippines. In every dollar your profit from the markets, it has 50 times the buying capacity. Lots of Filipinos go abroad just to earn dollars, well if you are a forex trader, going abroad Is not to find a job but to be on a vacation. It is very possible as a trader.

5. Spend your time with what you want to do in life. Having time freedom, you can do whatever you want to do in life. I believe that our time should not be spent by making money alone. We can create charity. Helping others. For me, teaching others how to become successful in Forex is what I do. I have paid trainings but consultations are just free. I guide newbie traders on how to start right and to grow their account. It is very fulfilling to help other people succeed.

6. You understand the world far better. Being a trader, you begin to have consciousness on world economy. World economy is a very interesting subject to be aware of. You will going to understand country’s economic strength and weakness. In my involvement in Forex, I cleary understood how money works and circulates, how federal reserve works and speculate world economic direction in the coming years.

7. Unlimited Opportunities become open to you. Since you own your time, you will be exposed to lots of opportunities. You will attract and exposed to like-minded individuals that will improve your life. It is far more better to mingle yourself to like-minded people in the world of business, discussing ideas, trades, markets and leverage. You will be a BAD-ASS! This means that you operate in a different world, entrepreneurship world with eagles in your circle of influence.

These are some of amazing advantages of being a Forex trader. These are worth the sacrifices. Nothing is easy at the start, but the thing is, it is better to sacrifice or spend a time to something that makes you become free than to sacrifice your time being a commodity of other people as an employee. Employment has its place. I also start as an employee and a part time trader but this is not my long term strategy. Employment is just my start-up and I also advise beginners to keep their day-job while they are starting with a small account.

Financial and time freedom are available. The Forex industry promises it and lots of successful traders enjoy it. In this information age, success belongs to those who utilizes information to gain leverage, because leverage brings fortune.
